Abstract

Regional General Hospital Dr. M. Soewandhie is a government-owned hospitals Surabaya area is now bustling and busy serving the various needs of public health. Due to the demands of time and increasing effectiveness and efficiency, the Hospital Dr. M. Soewandhie apply information systems to serve the needs of society so that all transactions carried out with the help of a computer. Data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis techniques that aims to explore and describe the results of these observations. The data sources used were interviews and direct observation at the Hospital Dr. M. Soewandhie Surabaya. For the needs of interviews, this study establishes the management as an informant and equipped with an additional 2 informant again coming from members of the public who seek treatment at Hospital Dr. M. Soewandhie. The results showed that the time to carry out the service could be shortened so that the number of patients that can be served more. Likewise, the accuracy of the action and the necessary care, information systems are well designed will provide opportunities for hospital managers to serve patients properly and quickly taking into account the inaccuracies that minimum. In terms of readiness reporting, the information system provides information that is already composed and ready when needed for evaluation and periodic reporting. In terms of financial supervision, information systems available can be used as a reference for search financial activities when necessary a financial audit that is easier and regular supervision. Implementation of information systems useful for patients served. In terms of the effectiveness of services, the patients who come for treatment in hospitals. Dr. M.
