AUDIT KOMUNIKASI KEHUMASAN PADA LEMBAGA PENYIARAN PUBLIK STASIUN TVRI JAWA TIMUR

Abstract

Public relation communication audit consist of review on public relation communication needs and communication practices go along happen now. A. public relation study have feedback characterization between organization and its publics and public with its organization. Since enact UU.R.I Number 32 Year 2002, TVRI broadcasting established as Public Broadcasting Institution (Lembaga Penyiaran Public – LPP) which held television broadcasting activities as independently, neutral and unprofitable.This research will be studied for public communication function performed in TVRI of East Java as public broadcasting institution with East Java public’s need about show program oriented to public interest in order to be done TVRI of East Java in realized show program oriented in public interest. Approach that employed in this research qualitative-descriptively. As research subject are Surabaya population and official in TVRI news field. Sampling technique used are sampling purposive and data sampling technique using interview technique. From data analysis could be concluded that public communication function held by an institution such as broadcasting program oriented public interest, but those broadcast program by public still not valued as reflection public interest fulfillment. Regard above TVRI of East Java should be tidy up others show programs by adding broadcasting material and packing the programs are attractive and understood by public. Inside picture quality improving and sound also cooperation with various elements from society either executives, legislative and judicatures.
