IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM USAHA PENINGKATAN PENDAPATAN KELUARGA SEJAHTERA (UPPKS) DI KELURAHAN PEGIRIAN SURABAYA

Abstract

This study aims to see how the implementation of the UPPKS program in Pegirian Village
Surabaya. This researchuse qualitative research methods with a systematic analysis of testing stages of
the results of interviews, field notes and other data in order to increase understanding. Prosperous
Family Revenue Improvement Business (UPPKS) is a Family Economic Empowerment program
developed through micro-economic efforts with the target family, specifically Pre-Prosperous families
and Prosperous Families I. This business activity has been initiated and pioneered by BKKBN with the
aim of moving the family economy through learning economic business by inspiring family interest and
enthusiasm for entrepreneurship. Efforts to Increase Welfare Family Income (UPPKS) is a productive
economic activity that seeks to increase income made by prosperous families in groups in a simple
community environment. Without good economic conditions, it is impossible for the family to improve the
quality of life.
