PEMANFAATAN AKUN INSTAGRAM JOKO WIDODO SEBAGAI SARANA MENINGKATKAN CITRA DALAM 100 HARI KERJA PADA JABATAN KE II

Abstract

In the 2019 elections Jokowi was re-elected President for the second time with his deputy Ma'ruf
Amin defeating Prabowo who was paired with Sandiaga Uno. In the second leadership period it is
certainly very interesting and worth the wait and what policies and activities will be carried out by
Jokowi to improve his image, especially in 100 working days through posting photos on his Instagram
account @jokowi. By seeing the activities for 100 working days through the posting of his Instagram
account, it is hoped that his activities can be seen in improving the image.The method used in this
research is a qualitative descriptive study, in which the researcher analyzes the Instagram @jokowi
account posting for 100 working days to improve the image.
The results of this study indicate that most of the photo posts on the Instagram account @jokowi are
dominated by multiple images that contain introducing and telling about various aspects and
performance in the second Jokowi government. Also in this study also looked at the number of likes and
comments of each post. Where from each post has a number of likes and comments that are different, and
from the overall comments show that most support Jokowi in each post that is shared. Overall in this
study it can be concluded that Jokowi managed to improve his image for 100 working days through
posting photos on Instagram.
