Abstract

Professionalism of Journalists is an attitude of subordinate behavior in the bureaucracy against a
standard rule that has been applied. The purpose of the research to be achieved in this study is to see the
professionalism of a journalist in carrying out his duties at the Real Taboid. This research is included in
the Qualitative Descriptive. Online journalism activities collect, edit, create a news website and
disseminate it to the public via the internet (online) with multimedia features. Online media has many
unique characteristics compared to Conventional Journalism. Data collection using a Mobile Camera
took photos of the Surabaya Real Tabloid Company Office. And look for information related to research
problems both from books, the internet, newspapers and other data sources. The results of this study
indicate that reporters in Real Tabloids are very compliant with the existing Journalistic Code of Ethics
and Professionals in covering news.
