Abstract

The heartbreaking Death of a black citizen named George Floyd occurred on May 25, 2020 in
America. The incident made various elements of society expressed for racial tolerance. Demonstrations
also took place in several states in America, including; Minnesota, California, Atlanta and Washington.
In the City of Minneapolis rallies ended in looting and vandalism. Demonstrations continued even
though the United States was among the biggest contributors to the death toll from the Corona virus
(Covid-19). Demonstrations are not only done by taking to the streets, in modern times demonstrations
can also be done through social media. An example is a photographer who express his aspirations
through the work of his photo that has its own meaning and correlation with the current situation in the
United States.
