Abstract

The influence of the activity in relation to the External Public Relations is able to deliver on the use and usefulness of solar power to the community, then the benefits and uses solar power is as a power source in this case as lighting, information and communication media. There are three objectives to be achieved in this socialization: (1) sensitize the public that it is important to implementation of socialization regarding the use and maintenance of solar. (2) Provide information regarding the SPP so that the public understands and can implement it well. And (3) provide support, encouragement to the people asking to keep and care for SPP that is not easily damaged. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, where researchers observed and interviewed based on data or facts obtained in the research area. Conclusions about the dissemination of the research results obtained by the local people are able to understand and implement what has been delivered by the company and the government regarding the use of solar power, so that the public can apply or implement according to the direction of the company well.
