Abstract

In the world of the press, journalism ethics is indeed a vital necessity. Because the code of conduct is a guideline, where one barometer of how true the mandate given by the people to the press run. Therefore, understanding and compliance with the Code of Journalism into something absolutely necessary for journalists. Crime news is news that is often exposed by the media massa.Sering violations of the code of conduct in the criminal news raised the question now is how the media deny a crime news from a journalist who in accordance with the applicable rules of ethics and the code of ethics of journalism. From the research that has been carried out, it can be deduced that: Print media memo newspaper had violated journalistic ethics in the criminal news aired while solar newspaper print media has effectively implement crime news of views that has been constituted by the Code of Ethics of Journalism.
